Business and personal papers of Minnesota lumber magnate Frederick Weyerhaeuser and his descendants. There is information about the Weyerhaeuser Timber Company and various subsidiary and affiliated companies, and about family members and their activities. The collection consists primarily of business correspondence. Correspondents include family members, lumbermen, bankers, officials of the Timber Securities Company, government and railroad officials, and others. There are corporate histories and annual reports, and there is information about financial and operational matters, stockholders' meetings, corporate restructuring, taxation, conservation and forestry, and other business matters. Financial records include budget documents, financial and operating statements, and price lists. There is personal correspondence of a number of family members, genealogical information, and a set of diaries (1894-1952) kept by Louise Lindeke Weyerhaeuser.
